Thumbnails on pick slip
04/29/13 at 08:08:06

Is there a way to add thumbnails to pick slips ?

Ive tried adding the graphic    maped it to pull data from BKQTTEMP  BK.DESC.NOTES{70}

I get an error about trying to get data from a file that hasnt been opened.

Are you referring to SO-C or WO-D?  Both have the ability to print linked documents but you can't add it.  You have to use the thumbnail graphic object that is already on the RTM.  If yours doesn't have the graphic, you may need to copy the newer version of the RTM from the RTX subfolder.

Thanks Lynn I will try that instead.

When would using   BKQTTEMP and  BK.DESC.NOTES{70} be applicable for an imported graphic ?

You copied in the RTX to get the latest?  SO-C and WO-D both have thumbnails.

I sent you the latest.  You are correct, the RTX was not up to date.  That has been remedied for future updates.

Thanks Lynn.
My pcik slips look so nice now with all these pictures.
when they print properly without all the blacked out ones.

any idea what causes that ?

seems like if I print to screen then to PDF I get good results.

direct to PDF / printer I get many many black boxes.

anyone have a soultion ?

Black boxes go away for 99.9 % of items when you make the thumbnail resolution 300x300 or less.

its a memory issue. I also shut down whatever is running to free up memory before printing.

I do an EVO restart too.

that way its all clean and good to go on long pick slips.

I still have a few issues when I print BIG 100-150 page boms
