We used the Open Perior Start Date as 12/1/13 and leave the other fields blank when we closed November.  However, even with that date the system allowed us to post a GJ dated November.  Is this an item to be fixed or were we supposed to but dates in the Open Period End Date and/or Accounting Open Perior and Start date?

Do you have the option to "Use Accounting Open Period Start Date for GL-B?" default turned on in AD-A?  If you do, then you also need to enter a date for that.
