SU-A Workorders
01/31/14 at 09:05:16

Are there any step by step instructions anywhere on how to add a sort option to the lookup grid for Work orders?  I keep getting complaints that the lookup feature doesn't have an option to filter by status.  I've looked around but I can't find any instructions on how to do this or if it is even possible.

Thanks!

EVO does not allow you to add the MTWO.WIP.STATUS column as a sort key, but it can be add as a field data.

Why would you sort by Status? what is it that you guys want to acomplish?

Bummer, ok thanks I'll let them know.

They want to be able to sort by status because sometimes there are multiple work orders for parts and they'd like to easily get to the open orders without scrolling through all of the closed orders too.

There is a button call "Show Open/Close Work Orders. It crush Evo.
You can use the filter feature but the status field always crush Evo.

Archive the old closed work orders.  You can always get to them using the Job Cost reports.

Archiving it won't let it show up in IN-A though and we use that history quite a bit when we have to research something.
