BOM Compare utility (Read 1875 times)

shadowcaster Active Member I'm not here because I know what to do. Posts: 678 Gender:	BOM Compare utility 02/07/14 at 14:34:21 A BOM compare utility would be useful. Anyone else need one ?. Seems like it would be a good JAVA thing. Maybe with some color to show BOM differences. Even just a list of differences would be nice I use a program called Beyond Compare all the time for text and program files to find differences. I think EVO needs this functionality.

And since we wrote our own, we compare the reference designators in the comments as well. it's very handy to see what's been added, changed, and deleted.

We don't have it pointing at a work order, but we have at times considered doing that as well to see if anything was different at that time.
