Tracking number field
04/03/14 at 10:56:56

In Evo, there's the option to enter a tracking number when releasing a sales order.  Before this, we've been exporting UPS tracking number from Worldship to the SO notes (classic).  I guess we should now export to the tracking number field instead.

What's the filename:fieldname for tracking number?

I don't find the tracking number on the invoice form T6sof4.rtm.  Is it there?  Can I put it there?

It is still stored in a note field.

How can we access classic notes in Evo?  I see buttons to view/edit Evo notes in SO-A, but can't find a way to view classic notes, including the tracking number.

Classic style notes should be found in the same place as Evo style notes. Their type is CSN (Classic Synchronized Note).

Note (pun not intended) that to see CSNs on reports such as PLs and Invoices when you have EvoNotes turned on, you have to add that note type to the "Print Notes" dialog.

Yes, but the "synchronized" notes aren't quite...

We have Evo Notes turned on.  UPS tracking number is exported to a note line.  We are using an EN rtm, not a T6.

If I have a backorder, I have to manually delete the tracking number note.  If I delete the Evo note, the classic note still remains.

Where exactly can I find the field on the display when releasing orders?

The tracking number is (as of 2014.1 release) stored in BKAR.INV.TRACK as well as a note in BKARDESC.   If you have Evo notes turned on and add the BKAR.INV.TRACK field to your RTM you can make the subreport that pulls the old DBA Classic notes from BKARDESC invisible.
