Perhaps its time for a new screen size that will work better with the latest high resolution monitors and old tired eyes.

Amen!  Has this ever been addressed?  It would also be advantageous if the various "windows" would resize according to the resolution being used on the monitor instead of cutting off the displayed text or requiring the user to manually resize the window EVERY time the need to use a function.
