I had an extra (orphaned) deposit on my reconciliation which I cleared off and then went to AD-B to adjust my checking account balance to be the same as my bank statement.  My questions is, does that balance in AD-B change each time I post to the GL-O.  I went to check my checking account balance after I made the adjustment and it did not change the amount.  I thought AD-B and my checking account balance would always match.

I used DBA/Evo for 15 years before I found this out: you CAN find the theoretical* checking account balance in the system.
 
Go to GL-I and do not enter ANY changes to the defaults with the exception of the Bank Account Number, and possibly the Order (default is check #, I prefer date). This means leaving the date range blank, Uncleared only, and All types.
 
This gives you a report SINCE the last time you reconciled, IOW starting balance will be what's shown in AD-B. All checks and deposits in order (if you selected Sort by Date) with a running balance.
 
*won't agree with actual balance unless/until all checks written and deposits recorded are actually settled at the bank.
