Add written statement to TRAVELER
09/17/15 at 14:51:15

I would like to know how to add some wording under the title TRAVELER on ENWOCx.rtm
We need to have notification of EAR/ITAR controls on the traveler when applicable.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks,

You have a couple of options.  You can edit the RTM using Report Editor and add the verbiage to a EAR/ITAR version of the Traveler document.  You will then need to make sure you print the traveler using the correct version form when creating work orders.  You can also add the wording as "Specs" to the required items.  Then, just make sure the box to print specifications is checked when printing travelers.  The Specs show up in a box below the WO header info, before the first sequence.  I'd probably go the Specs route.  It's the 5th tab when entering Items.

Thanks for the response. I thought of the spec field but it needs to print on all pages of the traveler so that's why I thought about under the words SHOP TRAVELER.
My problem is that I do not know the specifics of adding it to the report. The most I've done with the .rtm's is manipulate the size of fields although I did add a couple of database fields to the pick list.
Guess we'll just keep going with a rubber stamp.
thanks,

Each Part has an ITAR right?

If you want it on the header your options are limited.

If you don't use these fields :
Job No :                MTWO.WIP.PROJ = WO-A
Drawing :              MTIC.PROD.DRAW = IN-A
ITP :                     ITP = IN-A

Other Option
IN-A                      User Def , First Text Box
On the report
Table                    MTICMSTR
field                      MTIC_PROD_SUBST_2

Have fun............

 Cool

OK.
I'm currently using all the fields that have been suggested except the ITP. I added the statement to IN-A on one of the part numbers involved but it didn't print on the traveler. I looked at the rpt and guess I have to call out the specific field but I cannot find it where I expect it to be. In what file does it exist and what is the field name?
THANKS,
Liz

Did you check marked Print ITP in IN-A?

The ITP field is on the header of the traveller (We use T6WOC1.RTM)

have fun,

THANKS!!!

I tried the t6woc1.rtm and it looks good. Going to start using the ITP field for parts that are identified as EAR/ITAR regulated.
