OK, Michelle in purchasing came across something else.  She entered a PO# this morning for a specific part.  There are two lines- Line 1 for 3 pieces due 2/25 and Line 2 for 2 pieces due 5/24. However, when She ran MRP, it only shows Line 2 for 2 pieces due 5/24.  Line 1 for 3 pieces due 2/25 is completely missing.  This will cause the MRP to be very inaccurate (telling you to order when you don't need to, or telling you to order too many).  She ran it for both the full report and just this vendor and the same thing happened.  Not sure how many other items are doing this but this was one she just entered this morning so she knew what to look for.
 
So then she discussed this issue with the other purchasing agent and he tried checking off the 'show expedited action" box and for some reason that made the missing PO line appear again.  Worked for me too.  They are not sure why it would not show a line at all unless you want it to tell you to expedite, but apparently that's what it's doing.  So this one has a resolution of sorts, but they'd like to know why it is doing this?
