Speed of Evo

FYI, my vote is much slower than Classic DBA.

I guess I'm wondering if I am unique in this regard, and if so, try and figure out what if anything we can do about it. I'd like to turn on more Evo screens but they're so slow I only use the ones that I "need".

We also see it as much slower.  We have a couple of users that will not give up using DBA.  Also for ERP I cannot get users to switch from Classic View to Evo View in many cases as well, due to the speed difference between those screens.

I think in some screens it is definitely faster, and some are slower.  It's not, at least for us, an overall slower.  Overall, Evo is
faster than it used to be.  Some screens the users complain as being slower.

My 2 cents..

..And for me personally, I think is much faster, but that's only me.... everyone has brand new computers with fast processors and lots of RAM and Evo runs on a new server with lots of RAM, and you still can't make them happy.   Roll Eyes

For us Evo is slower the DBA in most things.   Between the slowness and the internal stack errors  most of our users are DBA fans.

Does the Pervasive version have anything too do with EVO speed?

I don't know what was done in 2017.1, but SubString Searches in lookups are waaaay faster than they were. They are almost usable now! Especially in AR-A, they are actually close to lightning fast. IN-B, not so much, but fairly acceptable (we have a lot of items).
