PURCH YTD AND PURCH LYR

Hello,
Could someone help to tell me where YTD and LYR information in Vendor statistics is coming from?
Is this for items that were invoiced and paid for the year?

select bkap_purch_ytd, bkap_purch_lyr from BKAPVEND where BKAP_VENDCODE = 'donaldtrump';

Perhaps I should clarify my question for the value shown in bkap_purch_ytd, bkap_purch_lyr , where is that value coming from?
Is it the total items purchased for the year and invoice, or just total invoiced...?

It is based on invoices and to be accurate needs to be recalculated using SM-J-O.
