IN-A - Received PO's
04/21/17 at 07:18:33

With the 2017.2 update where WO's that are more than 180 days old have been automatically archived the information available through Inventory Inquiry does not seem to be readily available.  We used to be able to view a listing of "Received PO's" attached to specific WO's.  Since the WO's are now archived is there a place to view all of the attached to the WO such the vendor name, the PO #, etc?  This information is not available through WO Inquiry?  It appears that this update is causing quite a few additional steps which used to be available through Inventory Inquiry.

Not sure I understand.  How were you getting to the PO's in IN-A?  The update didn't archive any received POs.

JC-S can give you all the detail on a work order, either archived or in the active file.

Received PO's is a button on the bottom in IN-A.  I use it all the time to view received PO's attached to work orders and since the update only "active" received PO's come up whereas before they all did and it was very helpful.  Job Costing on goes up to R for us...what is S?

The update did not archive any PO's.  Only Sales Orders and Work Orders.  JC-S is in Evo-ERP, you need to load that instead of DBA.

No there is no Yes or No option, its going to do it automatically when you install the update. SO-T, WO-Q and even WO-A and SO-A will let you see the archived data from the grid. I believe even IN-A depending on what grid your in will let you see the archived data.

If you really have to have the closed SO's and Closed WO's that have been archived back then you can always use SM-J-B to restore archived WO's or SM-J-T to restore Archived Sales orders.

Thanks for the info!!

I will install it on a virtual machine to see how it works.

I don't understand the reasoning behind it.
At least they should give you a Date Option, 180, 360 etc, etc

PD:

"4/5/17                SO-T can view Archived Sales Orders and SO-A can copy them"

On the SO-T the "copy SO" is disable.
On the SO-A you can not select a Archived SO, you can not copy it

nice

where is WO-T??????

nice

We have only installed the update a few days ago and we are already finding it is inefficient at best and impossible in some cases.  We are DBA users and weren't looking to change as we are a small company.  We agree it would be nice to choose the criteria for archiving information, we would like to be able to change that to 1, 2, 3+ years.  Since we are DBA users, how can we view "Received PO's" in IN-A?.  SM-J-B is available to us to restore archived WO's, however; SM-J-T is not.

So in IN-A when you enter a part and click on the Recvd POs button all your PO's show up but the WO field are blank? As for restoring closed SO's in DBA I believe its in SM-J-J.

As I said, the update did not touch the PO files at all so all your received POs should still be there.

When I access IN-A and click on the "Recd PO's" button, PO's that are older than 180 days are gone. I understand that the PO's were not archived; however, they cannot be accessed through IN-A since the update.
