Inventory Labels
07/13/17 at 06:29:00

I have created some inventory labels in the report editor (evo) and I am having trouble getting the last PO# and Rev Date to print when I use IN-G those fields just print zeros.  The label appears to be referencing the proper data fields (bkap.po.num & bkap.pol.ard).  My question is 2-part.  First, can it only recognize these fields if the labels are printed at the time the PO is received in PO-C?  If that is not the case, what am I missing to get that to print if I use IN-G?

Thank you.

You might need to talk to the Lynn on this one. The reason for that is I'm not sure the IN-G program Opens up the PO files like IN-A does if it doesn't then those fields will never print on the labels. Your other issue is how does the program know which is the last PO received.

Printing at PO-C will pull in PO information but IN-G will not.

Since it requires PO-C, is it possible to have a custom label run?  As far as I can tell, PO-C ONLY allows 1 per labels.  We need it to run multiple labels.  Is that an option?

When PO-C calls the label program there are a number of different options for the label quantity - 1 per line (for small items that are in a single container), one per piece (for large items), one per Lot, one per Serial or user defined.

The only layout option I get is 1 up, I also don't have user defined in the first drop down menu.

The actual text is "Prompt for Quantity" which means it will ask you how many.

Ok, so how do I get a different layout option?  I need to be able to print multiple labels on a sheet, not single labels.

Never mind, I figured it out.  I was able to choose the custom format I had created for IN-G once I chose Prompt for Quantity.
Thanks!! Smiley
