Why does the operation number change to the sequence number on this screen? Shouldn't it stay as it is in the original wo routing file?
This is causing us lots of headaches by having to go back and fix them after printing the updated traveler and verifying the changes that had been done.
Our routing template of operation numbers stay the same but can be different sequences depending on the part number being produced. They transfer to the work order. Normally, the traveler does not need to be updated but in the case of a revision change that affects the routing then the traveler gets updated to the latest rev. When the parts have been pulled and we choose not to cancel and re-issue the paperwork then we revise the work order routing to include the updated operations.
