What is the difference other than the withholding is less if I use a 5 day period vs a 7 day period when processing payroll?

The program assumes 5 day work week and uses the days in period to project what the annual pay would be at the pay rate entered to then calculate the withholding.  It is not used for anything other than the withholding calculation.
