date format for EVO-ERP install -all using?

The workstation setup instructions tell us:
Choose the desired date format (this changes the format for all users and must match the windows date format so you all need to be using the same windows date format
How can I confirm that my server and workstations are all using the same date format?
What are the consequences of not having the same date format .... because I bet mine are probably different.
Thanks
Laura

If they are different, some workstations will get an expiration message when trying to log in or run programs. If it works, the settings are the same.
