MRP-F no loner ruuning after patches
10/23/19 at 06:46:17

MRP-F is no longer running after patching last night. A user is trying to run MR-F (ISTS Enhancement 04/15/19) and is getting the following error:

"Error: Timed out try to open MTMRP file. You may not have rights to Create files or SMB2 (Windows cache) is enabled and is causing problems"
We are running Linux on server, no Windows servers. Current EVO ver 2019.1

This has happened before during our 6-19-19 EVO update and during our recent big EVO update.

Update: to above MRP issue
We ended up renaming and replacing the T7MRF.RWN and T7MRF.DRM from the update patch on 10-9-19 to the version just before the update patch. Good versions below:
T7MRF.RWN  11/28/2018 and T7MRF.DFM 3/29/2018
We were then able to run the MRF without any issues.

Anyone else getting this issue?
Will there be a fix for this in future patches?

Thanks,
J.O.

The same issue just happened to us again after running the MRP-F patch last night. We had to copy the older files back to make MRP work.

Any future fix?

If any MRP data files are open you will get this message.  I suspect that whatever you did to replace the prior file also closed the data files and it really had nothing to do with the older program version.
