WO-C Dated 11/15/21 (same as users having this issue.
Enter WO#, choose to print schedule, short form, drawings/revs/ecos, materials in seqs, BOM, Pick list
Print, wait, print dialog pops up, select printer (not previewing),
prints the Traveler, then pops up with an error for the first linked document (all linked docs are PDFs):
Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exeS:\ISO\Procedures\Manufacturing\MP-0710.pdf'. Make
sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.
click on OK.
Same with next linked doc, MP-0627.pdf
same with MP-0262.pdf
same with MP-0542.pdf
and it stops there.
All the linked files exist.
All have the proper rights for access.
All can be opened and printed manually.
Links have not been recently modified (last mods were November 2019)
Path and filename of the linked doc are indeed correct.
Use Global Path = N
NOT set to View only.
Can click on the eyeglasses and view the file link document.
Settings for the link shows the Global path as C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
Set as a Windows File Associations
Mozilla Firefox exists for the user--it is their default browser so we know it works, and we can open the file in Firefox or their
3rd party PDF app.
The only thing that is strange is in the error message there does not seem to be a space between the end of the windows path and the
beginning of the S: drive path...it's run together. Is this the problem?
I did just apply patches to Evo (1/27) and I believe it included an updated WO-C program.
In Windows 10, the default app for type PDF was set to be a 3rd party app, not the browser. Changed to be the Firefox browser.
Foud a PDF and double-clicked it and Firefox now opens it.
Then re-tried WO-C in Evo.
Prints the traveler, then gives the same error on the first linked document. I click on OK, it switches to print the pick list.
It skips the other linked docs altogether now.
I checked my Windows path and just for S&G added the c:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox path.
Retried it again.
Still unable to print the linked documents, same exact error comes up.
Any ideas? Stumps me.
I will try and roll back the WO-C to our previous version and see if the new version is the issue.
