Desc in all CAPS on original forms?
04/17/03 at 06:22:55

At least on Acknowledgements, Packing Lists, and Invoices, the Description prints in all caps when using either the original TAS5 forms (BKSOB4.RTM, etc) or the TAS6 ones (T6SOB4.RTM, etc). I'm hoping there's a way around this - it just looks tacky, IMHO.

I agree,

I really hate it when our documentation shouts at people.

Interesting....

Most of the RFQ's, orders, acknowledgements and invoices we receive from customers/vendors have all caps titles. What bothers you about this?

WHEN SOMETHING IS WRITTEN IN ALL CAPS IT LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE SHOUTING. At least that is what is generally accepted in the online world.

It's also hard to read, and it looks utilitarian.

I believe the issue was the comment and description lines, not the title of the form itself.  It has been fixed, I plan to post an Evo update soon for users who have already purchased and installed it so the user menus already developed don't get overwritten.  If you are still using the demo, a new post was updated yesterday (4/22) which can be downloaded and installed to see some of the recent changes.

Now I get it  -  Desc - Description Line.

Makes sense to me now. Roll Eyes
