SO-A check for duplicate Customer PO
05/07/03 at 15:23:01

We're on version 2002.4 and the documentation for SO-A, Cust PO shows we should receive a warning if a duplicate PO number is issued (other than "verbal").  I can't get this to work - we've had problems with duplicate orders being input and it didn't catch them.   This is one of the reasons I upgraded  Roll Eyes - I can't
get it to come up with a warning on a test either, where I KNEW the po was entered exactly the same.

Does anyone know if this needs to be turned on somewhere or what may be happening?

Is anyone else using this and it works?

Thanks,

It does work for us. Almost all of our "PO #s" are the person's name, so they are almost always duplicated, and we always get the message.

I think this is part of the IS Tech update and not DBA.  So it would only work if you have the IS Tech Support update.
