Show Opens Sales Orders Button
05/08/03 at 09:50:22

??? I'm not sure which DBA version it started with but for some time now in SO-A when we click the Show Open Sales Orders Button it closes the screen.  The only way to keep it from closing is if you go to the top of the list then click the button (example SO-A, the HOME key, then Open Sales button).

I emailed DBA tech support when this started but was unable to resolve the problem.  Does this happen to anyone else??

We are using 2002.4 with ISTS most current update installed.

Yes.

I get a flicker of the new screen but the window closes.

I think that happens if all the sales orders displayed on teh screen are closed.  If there is at least one open sales order on the display screen, it works fine.  I will ask the programmer to see what can be done.

Yes, but when you are looking at the screen (which only displays 13 orders I think) and click the button, are any of the open orders displayed?  If all the orders displayed on the screen are closed when you click the button, the screen goes away even if there are open orders further up on the list that are not displayed.

Exactly!!  Because of old (not perged Sales Orders from Beginning Balance entries) that have higher numbers than current sales orders.

Ok, so this thread is a little old and I apologize for resurrecting it.  I am using DBA Classic 2002.4 and am having this issue.  It's never been a problem before, as we've never had a lot of closed sales orders at the bottom of the list.  Is there a fix for this?  I looked in SD-M to see if I could not display the closed SO's, but I didn't see anything.  Any ideas, or just something we'll have to deal with?

It was fixed back in 2003 but you need to be an IS Tech Support subscriber to get the fix.  Awful lot of content available for only $40/month!  www.istechsupport.com/updates.pdf for a list of major features.
