AP check reg that includes our PO# (Read 953 times)

We use PO"S-- but we are not tied to the GL. All our payables are entered thru vouchers. Thanks, Laura AP check reg that includes our PO#

Maybe I am missing something but if you are entering all the AP as a voucher rather than a PO Invoice, then how could the system know which voucher goes with which PO to get you the report you want? If you use AP-C then it is a simple report because the invoice number is stored in the PO file but if you are using vouchers, I don't see any way to connect them.

Yes...that was confusing on my part.

Right now we enter our PO# in the first part of the description field and try to enter a description with whats left. So...really if the description from the voucher printed out on the check register I would be in good shape.

Or if there was another field in the voucher area where I could enter the PO....but that change is not likey.

I will send it to programming for a near term update.
