SA-A bookings numbers???
05/21/03 at 09:28:10

Hi,
I have a question on SA-A Sales bookings. It seems like the only time I get a correct MTD number is when I put a date range from the first of the month to the current date. If I use any other date range I get completely different numbers for bookings? I'm I missing something here?
Thanks
Jim P.

Month to date is only MTD to the extent of the range you specified. For instance, if you had $100 of orders every day, and you entered a date range of April 29 - May 2, total bookings would be $400, and MTD would be $200. If you put a date range of May 5-9, both total and MTD would be $500.

...yes but if I put in the following:

01/01/03 - 05/21/03 I get MTD $283,158.50

05/01/03 - 05/21/03 I get MTD $78315.50

I would think they should be equal?

...its scary cus you don't know what numbers are good without digging down. You would think a system which its sole purpose is to calculate accurate numbers would do just that. May confidence in this system as a whole has declined tremendously.
