08/06/03 at 08:03:59
I have just completed a physical inventory. After the posting, a small portion of it has double postings. The postings do not have the same quantites in them. What is causing this? I only have on inventory location and irt is set as default. How can I correct it? I really need some help. My total inventory has increased too much. Please Help. ???

Is your default Location blank or does it have a name? Did the items in question have multiple tags entered? Is the description of the entries identical if you look at the transactions in IN-E?

There was no mutliple tags but in. The default location is blank, and there is different information in the transaction lines.

What is the description of the transactions in IN-E? If they came from the PI posting, it will be "Phy Inv 2003/01 Adjustment" (or whatever your inventory number was)
