I need to clear information in our practice company--but when I go to:
System Manager
Utilities
Maint. Programs
Clear data
 
it automatically put me back to the utilities button- won't let me enter???
 
What causes this to happen?

Not sure, it works fine here.  Make sure nobody else is in that company and no files are hung open.
