Item Description on Sales Analysis

I want the item description to appear on the Sales Analysis User Defined reports sorted by Customer. All that apprears is the Item # which is a number and not what management or the customer wants to see. How can I change this.

Along the same lines: in workorders & jc reports, etc having the operation description would be much more meaningful than the seq/operation #. We need to go between two lists to see what is being reported.
