We have had a request to possibly develop a Work Order Shortage Report in MS Access that would provide the ability to:
 
-look at available on-hand quantities of items and compares to WO required quantities and then shows shortages.  It would also need to look at PO tables and see if there were quantities due in on PO that could fulfill the requirement.  It would then need to show the WO due date and the PO Estimated Receiving Date and then they could determine a course of action from that.
 
Additionally the application would provide the ability to:
 
-filter by WO status ie. Firmed, Released, Closed, Cancelled
 
-decide to show or not show make-froms or any other item types each time you generate
 
-view the report on screen and print and be able to email it as well
 
-get purchased items for the make-from. DBA stops at the make-froms and does not go down to the make from BOM and include "R" items in the pick lists or shortage report  
 
 
We are wondering if there is anyone else that would like such an application that we could do some cost sharing on the development with this client and some other folks.
