2002.4 upgrade problems...
12/01/03 at 10:07:02

we are currently running 2001.1 and have been holding out on upgrading for *far* too long.  This past weekend we ran through the process of upgrading to 2002.4 and after numerous attempts were finally able to complete the install with no errors.  However, upon launching DBA we came to find that there was absolutely no SO-related functionality available.  In the Accounting section only 4 buttons displayed and in other menus the SO-related options were grayed out.  Also, the text itself in the menus, in alt-text, in reports was peppered with &'s (ampersands) e.g. Payr&oll.

Is this the work of a faulty DDF?  Like I said before we didn't get any error messages during the upgrade...Thanks.

The Ampersands are to force the Menu Hot Keys of the drop down menus to match the menu item letter.  Don't worry about them.

As for the menu layout, things have moved around, you will need to redo your security grid in PS-B to get access to the grayed out areas.
