SO-E override shipper #

I'm relaying this question for a co-worker. I don't work in that part of DBA so I don't even know what she is referring to but apparently SO-E does not allow her to override the shipper # (we always put the s/o # in place of the shipper #). Is this a bug or an intentional change? I guess this hasn't been working for her since we applied the 12/31 update

There is an IS Tech setting to make the pack slip and invoice number the same. If that is set to Y in SD-Q then you can't change the Shipper number. If you want to manually control the shipper number, then sed the default to N. But manually setting Shipper Number = Sales Order number can be a problem if you ever have multiple shipments per sales order.
