Wow, there is a bunch of great information in the last few threads on Image Links.  
 
I have one question that I have not seen answered in the other posts about links.
 
The help files for IN-A says: "a global path can be saved and then each link in that folder need only enter the file name."
 
Where do you go to enter the global path or how is it entered?[i]

In IN-B when entering a link, there is a question "Use Global Path".  If you answer Y and have not yet defined a path, you will be then prompted for one.  if you have defined it already, there will be an EDIT button available so you can modify it.  One caveat to all the image link paths - all users need to be using the same drive mapping.
