Business Changes have forced following changes in Item Master with almost 7000 items:
CLASS for few hundred items must be changed;
Categories for all items need to be added;
Preferred vendors for most purchased items need to be added.
 
Does earlier process of copying 3 files, transferring only changed fields to Inventory file and copying 3 files back work for such changes-especially CLASS changes.
 
Or is there an easier way for such routine problems.
