email setup

We are loving the trial version of EVO with email but are having a problem with the email setup.  MY purchaser would like to have the PO email copied to her mailbox and we cannot seem to get the BCC email address to save.
We enter it and it's gone when we open setup again.

How many characters is it?  It is supposed to save 40 characters but we have discovered a problem if it is more than 20 - working on it now.

Also, try deleting the NZEMAIL.CFG file in the C:\ISNZ folder on her hard disk and then go into TAS - K again and re-enter everything.  I have seen the CFG file get corrupted and need to be regenerated.

Smiley Thanks, Lynn, I deleted the file and did the email setup again and that worked. ( Both email addresses that we were trying to set up had 20 characters)
One other thing that doesn't work is the contact field.  We are trying to put that in the body of the email but it doesn't show.  There is a contact name in the customer file, and it shows up in the TO:  drop down for the customer.  The company name field does work here.

I have this same problem.  This time I wiped out the nzemail.cfg and I'm still getting the same issue that the .pdf file can't be found.

If I wipe out the whole ISNZ file, what process do I need to do to set that file up again and start all over.  My error seems to be that the file isn't going into the attach file.

I found that if I put the path to just ISTS it works fine. I didn't have a sub folder ATTACH. Maybe making the folder will also work?

What about, if I wipe the ISNZ folder all together and restart and make a new one.  How do I get the nzemail.cfg and the TASPRO6.ini to get into that file.  I know if I do the TAS-K that is suppose to redo the nzemail.cfg file, but I'm unsure where that .ini file is coming from.

Also, when I try to wipe the nzemail.cfg when I go back to TAS-K it's kept all the settings like it's not really letting me redo it completley.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

You don't need the INI file in the ISNZ folder so wiping it out and using TAS-K to make a new CFG file should work fine.

This still won't work.  I wiped it all out and started over and get the message that it can't find the .pdf file.

The email part of it sends find.  I just end up sending an email with no attachment.

We are beating our heads on this one and I've got the President so frustrated she's looking for another software.

Any other ideas?

Do you have the 5/17 update and Evo-ERP installed or are you still using the old TAS 6 Evolution?

I am also having this problem.  I am on the 5/17/05 update.  The email sends with no attachment.  Here is the error message:

The file: C:\ISTS\PDFS\P16051.PDF cannot be found and will not be attached to this message.

...continuing my last post.  In the file name that pops up:

C:\ISTS\PDFS\P16051.PDF

I do not have a subfolder PDFS in either my C drive or my dbamfg\ists on the server.

try creating the C:\ISTS\PDFS subfolder and see if that works.

is there a place that tells you where to "attach" the .pdf document?  It seems that that is what is missing.  It can't find it in the right place.  It's making the .pdf, it's just sticking them in my server dba directory.  Example it sticks it in the R:\ directory when it should be placing it in the C:\ISTS directory.

TAS-K at the bottom is the path setting. C:\ISTS or wherever your ISTS folder is on YOUR LOCAl H/D
