Batch labor entry in Evo
11/15/04 at 08:49:54

We have our shift schedule set up with a 15 min break in the am.  In Evo, in WO-M, we entered a time from 7:30 to 10:00 and the calculated time was 2 hrs.  It should be 2:15. In another instance, I entered the times as 8:00 to 10:00, and Evo calculated the time to be 1 hr.   When I went into DBA classic and went to the batch labor screen WO-M, highlighted the entry and scrolled through it, in both cases it changed the run time to the correct run time.  When I went to Evo again and went through the same process in WO-M, Evo changed the time back to the incorrect time.
Apparently Evo is not calculating the run time correctly in WO-M.

Is there anybody out there who can help me solve this?  User error or Evo problem?  I would like my people entering labor to use Evo!

HI, Lynn, any progress on this?  I have a user who is forgetting to get out of Evo and into DBA Classic when entering labor!

Any progress on this?  My data entry person is on vacation and I have to fill in for her.  Now I see why she always has both evo and classic open on her station  (fortunately we have enough licenses)!

HI, Lynn, the fix works great in evo, but I just had an instance where a workstation that I had not installed Evo on yet was trying to use the Batch labor entry in DBA classic and  he kept getting an error about not being able to find a folder C:ISTS to save local settings.  I installed EVO on that workstation and now everything works fine in DBA Classic.  WE have a few workstations that don't have evo yet, I guess I better get to them!

Lynn,
We just experienced this problem too.
Unfortunately, it was not duiscovered until approx 40 days of data had been keyed in. embarrassed

Is there a way to force a recalc of the transactions already posted?

Thanks!

Let me see what I can do.  There may be a way to write a utility to rebuild Job Cost but you will probably need to make a manual journal entry once the new totals are rebuilt.
