Beginning Balances

We have been using DBA since 1999; however our controller has been using PeachTree for accounting - printing checks from there and using it for statements.  We have entered ALL payables and recievables into DBA for the last 3-4 years.  We would like to eliminate PeachTree, but many of our balance sheet accounts are not accurate.  Is there a way to enter 12-31-04 balances and go from there?

We are running DBA 2002.4 12/14/03

Thanks

Yes.  make sure everything is posted in GL-O and that you have AM-E properly set up.  Then run a balance sheet in DBA as of 12/31/04 and compare to Peachtree and use GL-B to make the needed journal entry to get them into agreement.
