Router default?
02/25/05 at 00:41:29

We're lookin at Evo for a new installation. Don't use routers now, don't want to in the future, BUT it seems that we have to with Evo, to do what we want. That is simply to track labour hours by employee/work order/type of labour.

Is there an easy way, like a default router with all the seq's set up to cover the labour categories, or do we have to re-enter each category on a new router for each BOM?

You can enter Labour type items into the BoM for "standard" labour tracking as you are describing here.

So every BOM has a list of 10 labour items, plus the actual parts?

You could create a standard Routing template and import or copy it for each parent item.  One way or another, if you want to track the labor, you need something to track it against.

Granted. I'll check it out. Can I make it an automatic part of any new BOM creation?
