windows error in evo
03/11/05 at 09:18:48

On of my evo users has been getting the following error when in seemingly random programs in evo: "Tas6evo.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows.  YOu will need to restart the program.  An error log is being created."  The two programs she was in yesterday when she got this message were IN-A and WO-A.  The first time it happened she restarted her computer, the second time when she said ok evo didn't close and she could continue to work in it.  Has anyone experienced this/ does anyone know what might be causing it?

Anyone have any input on this problem?  It keeps happening and she also complains that sometimes it seems like Evo is running slowly.

I am assuming that you have tried cleaning Pervasive, DBA, and the Evo overlay off and re-installing them?

Thanks Lorne, but you assume too much... I guess I was waiting for someone to confirm my suspicions.  Does it matter which order I do this in?  Pervasive first?

Evo 1st, DBA client, then Pervasive. The run the "clean" utility from the DBA install CD and then re-install Pervasive client, DBA and finally Evo. See if that solves the problem.

Using EVO:  Yes, we get those error messages every now and then-maybe 5-10 times a week.  Our errors have an option to send it to microsoft-which we do not do.  After enough clicking, we get an application error but are able to continue working.
