Installation BTrieve error 3012 (Read 1577 times)

Installation BTrieve error 3012

After restoring DBA and Pervasive (and back-up data) after a hard drive crash on our server DBA works fine on the server but on the client machines Pervasive gives a BTrieve error 3012.  
 
Anyone got a solution?
 
DBA version 2002.4, Pervasive 2000i SP3, peer-peer network. Windows XP

3012 is almost always a communications or protocol problem.  I would uninstall and reinstall Pervasive, not just restore.   May also want to reinstall the TCP/IP protocol itself on the server and maybe NIC drivers.

I've already Cleaned and re-installed Pervasive. I'll try TCIP and NIC and report back

You were correct. I updated the NIC drivers and the error has gone.
