Vacation Accrual
09/07/05 at 12:21:47

I am setting up vacation accrual for the first time in DBA Classic and would like to know how - where does the hours accrued get figured from?  Is is from the total hours or is it only hours worked?

Thanks

By hours paid per pay cycle. If they are Salary you will get the 40 or ? hrs. per year. On hourly Peeps if they work 2080 Hrs. per yr. they will get the 40. Less is Less and More will accrue.

In pure DBA Classic, this is true.  There are a couple of different ways you can set up the accrual with the IS Tech updates - we also have accrual based on weeks of employment regardless of hours worked.

Thanks for the info. If I understan correctly this means it includes the vacation and holiday pay.
