Printing Statements
12/23/05 at 07:55:25

In the last week or so we have been unable to print statements for some customers (AR-E). Some customer statements print and others do not. By do not, I mean that the page prints but no data. The field names of what is supposed to be where the data is from is all that prints.  It seems to be a random feature. Anyone having this problem? I have reindexed alll associated files to no avail.

I know this is the obvious but are they flagged in AR-A to print statements?

One in question had "send statements(Y or N)" set to "N". Is this the flag you mentioned. I changed it to Y and the statement printed. Thank you so much, now I can relax for a few minutes yntil another problem appears. Merry Chtistmas!

Well, The flag setting to Y worked on some customers, but others that have the flag set to Y still do not print any info. I can not find a pattern to this behaviour. If the file had no data for a particular customer would it not still print the customer address and so on, with zero values?

I think AR-E, the program for statements must be set to not print anything if there are no outstanding invoices or payments made and you have not chosen to print statements with 0 balance or statements with open amounts only.  In Evo you just get a blank page, in DBA you get a page with the field names.  You must be using DBA.  If you want these to print, you can pick print statements with $0 balance-  don't know why you would want to though!  Cheesy

In EVO if you want all accounts to print, that are flagged to print set the prompt Overdue, Current or All to A and the prompt print accounts with 0 balance to Y. This will print 0 balance statements.
