reorder report

I'm hoping that someone can help me with this problem that we are having.  We run the reorder report it does not  include all the part numbers that are below the reorder level.  If we go into that partnumber and look at it the next time we run the reorder report it will appear then.  (we know that partnumber is getting low that is why we check it becuae it is not on the reorder report and have gotten burned before).  Do you have any suggestions? Does this happen to anyone else??  This has been going on for sometime now.  Have sent copies to Lynn and showed her what is happening.  Thought I would check this out also and see if anyone else has suggestions?  Thanks!!

No we are not saying yes to rebuild stock status because it takes hrs to run.

Diana,

It happens to us as well.  We rebuild stock status every morning to fix it.

I have also mentioned to Lynn in Phoenix about this problem.

As you've noticed, doing a screen inquiry in IN-A will cause the data to update for that part.

Rebuilding Stock Status or running SM-J-C Master Level Reconcilliation will do it system wide but that is time consuming as you said.

This is a known issue and hopefully will be tackled soon.

In my opinion, spending programming time on a structural issue like this is more important than some of the cosmetic improvments I've seen.

I'm sure it isn't as much fun though.
