Sales Order Line Description

I just notice that you can type 26 characteres on the line description.
 
If you take a look to the table it says that the column
 
BKAR_INVL_PDESC is 30 characteres long.
 
why is only 26?
 
It would be nice if the this column is  70 characteres long as  BK_DESC_NOTES is.

That problem sounds similar to the one in the terms field.  The terms field in the database is 20 but the terms field on the reports (sales orders/po's) is about half that. Some of our terms printed without the last characters require hand written additions, since without them the terms are not at all correct.
