ODBC/Access on BKARCUST
02/09/07 at 10:52:10

Created the source w/ OEM/ANSI conversion box checked
Passed the Test
Generated the DDF's
Opened Access
Get Link
Tried to grab table BKARCUST

And got the following error message:

'BKAR_ADD2[ 1]' is not a calid name.  Make sure that is does not include invalid characters or punctuation and that it is not too long

I am able to pull in other tables just fine (BKICMSTR/BKAPINVT/BKABEND...).  So it seem to be "working" properly, just not the OEM/ANSI conversion.

I have recreated the source a few times via Pervassive Administrator.  I went into Pervassive Control Center and opened the source/table/bkarcust and all the information shows perfectly.  just not via Access on this Table.

Any suggestions/thoughts would be great!

Make sure that you are using the DDF files in the same folder as the data files.

These are the ones created by ODBCDDF that are ODBC Compliant (no illegal field names, etc.).

Do not use the DDF files in the main DBAMFG folder.

Changed it from DBAMFG to DBAMFG/Default...works like a charm.  Much thanks
