SA-A: has there been a change?
04/27/07 at 05:24:22

Since updating to 2/14/07 our billing clerk has been questioning how the Bookings report is working. Has there been a change that would affect the Bookings report? She says that changes to bookings are no longer showing up. Any ideas?

I just ran the Bookings Report for the entire month of April. We have had several changes to orders, but no orders show in the changes section. The totals for the changes section register a couple of changes in the salesperson sub totals, but no orders are listed.

What gives?

Since SA-A has not been changed, and since I am seeing a change in results since moving from the August to the February release, what has been changed about the way changes to Sales Orders are saved in that time?

Something has changed, or else I have a very strange bug. I have printed daily booking reports for the last two years. Up until the day I did the update, SO changes showed up in the Booking Changes section of the Bookings report, but after the update no changed orders have showed up in that section, even though we can see the differences in the totals for the period. As I mentioned above, the changes section will show subtotals by salesperson for the changed orders, but the orders themselves are not being listed in the changes section.

Can anyone duplicate this?

I'm on an even older rev, so can't confirm, but looks like there must have been a change between August and October 2006.

Has this been fixed yet?
We are on the 5/1/07 update, but I am not seeing changes to the bookings report.

There is one thing that has changed, a setting in IS Tech defaults that enables a question after changing either SO or PO, "Ask for book date when changing SO (or PO)?  I have enabled this because I want the change to a SO booked last month to post in last month.  The default date however, even if you are asked, is today's date.  Don' t know what the default is if you do not enable this feature.
