you need a user defined function library to add to your crystal reports, UFL, that allows bar code, and then you need the appropriate bar code font installed on your computer.
 
both the font and ufl will have to be on each user's computer that would run your report that contains the bar code.
 
once you have both of those, you can bar code just about any field in your DBA / EVO data.
 
there are some UFL's and Fonts you can buy, there are some you can find for Free on the web.
