One of our do-gooders took it upon herself to mess around with EVO and I noticed that now when I went to change her settings in TP7RTsetup.exe the OK, Cancel and Apply buttons are no longer there.  Any ideas as to what she did?  I have also notice that the font for field description now is one I have never seen before.

Haven't come across this.  Will be watching to find out how to fix in case this ever happens to us in the future.  Good luck.

Knowing this operator and talking to the other IT people, it seems some Windoze settings were also affected.  But if anyone can solve it without a full reinstall that'd be great.  I know that the details are a bit sketchy but it's really a shot in the dark.

Umm... As a guess I'd say that maybe the user changed some of the windows display settings. You can change the dots per inch (DPI) and all sorts of things like font sizes and colors, etc. The tas 7 setup program is probably not coded to be very tolerant of people changing all kinds of setings. Two things you might try in windows: (Hopefully you use XP)

Right click on the desktop and select properties.
Go to the Appearance tab and select the Advanced button
Use the drop down list to select the various Items
The font sizes for things which have a font size should probably be 18

Or

Right click the desktop and select properties
Go to the Settings Tab and click the Advanced button
Under the general tab there is a selection for DPI.
This should be set for 96DPI. If it is not set it that way.

If neither of those fix it then you might try thumb screws and a waterboard to "help" your power user to remember what they did. Wink

I eventually went in yesterday to her computer and reset the Windoze settings and then did a full reboot.  Why anyone has to tamper with these is beyond me.  I mean Bill G. went to painstaking efforts at his local Home Disimprovement Store to get these colors just so and then we have these "power-users" ruining it all.  So on reset, I made her promise to me that if she decided to change anything, even the font on an email she was sending her elderly grandaunt in  South Central Uzbekistan to write it down and keep a log.
Ten minutes later she was back at it, and no sign of a pen and paper anywhere.  Some people simply should have their computers confiscated for inane behavioral patterns! And I'd prefer to conserve the water than use it on this one.  Grin

Can't you change this user's account to a non-administrator so that they can't make those sort of changes? And, if they did mess their account up then you could at least delete it and create a fresh one.
