Business status trouble
01/19/08 at 11:36:37

I have run the business status on two companies, the live company and a test company that I made from a copy of the live data and neither worked.  I left the office yesterday at 12:30 with it running on the test company and today at 10:30 it was still "initializing".  I had already tried on the live and had to abort by closing the initializing and then the recalculating and when the program finished refreshing the data was all wrong.  As is the data today after aborting and letting it refresh.  What should I do now?

Cathy,

You need to change your signature to the 12/15 update...

if you start the program you see the animated popup screen.. if that is hung try pressing Esc just once. I thought I had fixed that, but maybe not..

Allen,

I changed my signature-- sorry I forgot that step- maybe that should go in the update instructions!

I tried loading my backup copy of the ISBSF file into my test company and it is running still right now.  ESC did not change anything, it has been running for about 20 minutes and is still "initializing".  I think I remember the update doing something to this file-- is it possible this route won't work because it is a pre-update copy?

Am I going to have to do the ctrl/F10 thing and lose all my historical data?

Even though the Initalizing screen is still up and running, if I go to the task manager, there is only evoerp showing and no sub program like there usually is  when running a program within Evo.  Is this a clue?

BTW, I guess this should be posted under Problem Reports.  I am one of the "confused about where to post" ones-- am I doing something wrong or is the program not working?
