Ghost of the code

Just for reference, I'm almost always the person that answers these questions but to some extent people could do this themselves. Go to Start -> Programs -> Pervasive -> Pervasive.SQL -> Documentation -> Pervasive.SQL 9 (or whatever version you have) That will bring up the help file for pervasive. Then click the index tab and scroll down until you find your error code. The documentation is fairly good at explaining the errors. Or, have me look it up for you: 3014 means that it can't find a PervasiveSQL engine. Are you using workgroup or client server? My guess is that a firewall is blocking access to the Pervasive server but I'd need more info on your configuration to really have any more educated of a guess.
