Sales Order value doesn't add up
05/28/08 at 08:01:22

When a new sale order is placed the total value of the lines sometimes shows in the list of SOs, but many times it shows $0.00

I remember there being a discussion about this a long time ago, but I can't recall the explanation. It really would be helpful for real time reporting if these amounts would consistently show correctly.

I believe if line item(s) are in the process of being invoices, (either because they have been released or because the invoice has been printed but not posted, I can't remember which or if it is either) the SO shows $0 for the total.

They show as zero from the time they are created. If one is ready to ship (released) it shows the value. But there are some that show partial value. Perhaps IS Tech is just trying to drive me nuts? Seems to be working Wink

Once they are invoiced they go back to zero  cry

It is showing Released $.. the total is what is released, not the SO total.. So if you set SOA to release = 'Y" you see it in SOA, else you see a total after in SOE. and after you invoice the released total is 0...
