importing Sales Orders

Is there a way to import Sales order information from an MS Access entry?  I am trying to prevent double entry of shipping information.  We are running DBA classic Version 2004.1 IS Tech Support update 12/15/07.

We are doing something like that with one customer who provides a xls spreadsheet. We link that spreadsheet to an access table and then do queries that create SOHEAD, SOLINE and SONOTES tables. From those table we create a flatfile (there is a special layout map available). This flatfile can then be imported into the EDI module under "Import EDI orders".

'Bout the only way I can think of doing it.  (Using the EDI module)  There are some quirks with the EDI module that may affect how you import the data.
