Evo won't open.
01/08/09 at 11:34:02

I tried opening Evo this morning and got the following message: "Btrieve memo file (WBTRVMEMO.B) could not be opened and Btrieve memos will not be available." Evo then loaded but it won't allow me to access any of the modules.

Classic opens fine.  Any ideas on how to get this fixed?

I'm pretty sure that has happened to us. The usual cause is a zombie version of evo lurking in the shadows. If you know how to kill Evoerp.exe and the tp7runtime then do that. Otherwise, reboot.

Tried the reboot, but it didn't help.

To be clear, that would be a reboot of the workstation and not the server.

This is a stand-alone computer. No network involved.

Nope.  Windows XP.  We don't use EVO that often, but we do use it.  We just updated the payroll software yesterday.  I wonder if something went wrong there?

It was the payroll update that did it...   Sad  Apologies...

Re-download the payroll update and reinstall it and it will fix it.
